VeCATS has provided provincial Premieres with formal support letters on develop provincial and municipal programs focused on transitioning soldiers and veterans, into provincial workforces, educational programs to address regional skilled-labour shortages, job experience programs, procurement contract guarantees, and other initiative that will assist soldiers, veterans, and their families
~ VeCATS has been working for 2 years to bring a "Tax-Free" system, mirroring our US military bases/stations/dockyards, to Canadian Soldiers and Veterans (CAF & RCMP)
~ VeCATS is working to bring in a "Canadian Veterans Procurement Act" that aims to streamline and support the acquisition of essential goods and services for veterans. This initiative will have the government procurement for VAC and CAF, provide 10% of contracts to Veteran-Owned Businesses
~ VeCATS is working to open Veterans Entrepreneurship Hub (Vet-Hub) that will support Veterans in starting their businesses after Service
~ VeCATS has started their Veterans University that will provide accreditation to soldiers, RCMP, and Veterans with education and knowledge required for after service employment. Technology Toolkits, Sales & Marketing, Project and Program Management, Information Technology Service Management Governance and other accredited programs to award a credential with real-world experience to add for future employment
~ VeCATS is working to establish a Veterans Retirement Homes & Community within the Ottawa Region to start, but utilize Government lands to support them in post-service retirement
~ VeCATS has developed a framework to initiate Canada's National Veterans Bank (NVB) to support active services members (CAF & RCMP) and Veterans (CAF, RCMP, Approved Civilian Members who served DND) by providing comprehensive financial solutions tailored to their unique needs and experiences
~ VeCATS will embark upon a National Indigenous Veterans Healing Program with a pilot project in NL with a 1st Nations Community. This program will provide PTSD healing program employing Indigenous teachings and experiences to become one with the earth
